So do you think this is some crazy coraline algae? It hard so it's not slime algae.... just started growing one day

man you are so right........ not :hammer: it's been growing for about 6 months... you can see where the worms live in a hole in the middle

I say leave it. It's def. not coralline... but I had something weird growing in my tank and a few months later it became a plate coral. It's now the size of a dollar coin.

I had some stuff growing like that but it was red, I glued a piece of it to a rock and have since lost it, it didn't die I lost the rock in the rock work........it could be some type of coralline is there only on species of coralline?
