some clowns are bred for certain traits and look's rising their costs. while others are just bred for numbers which makes them very cheap. my clown pair only cost me ten dollars. if you want a fancy rare designer clown it will cost you quite a bit. but if you just want a clown they can be very cheap. the ones I got are ocellaris clowns.

Its like dog breeds. There are some clowns that are 600+ dollars. Size is also a factor as well but the pattern and coloration are a huge part of the price. your normal ocellaris clown should run anywhere in the neighborhood of 12-25 dollars.

I know it's such a beautiful fish. I'm planning on getting some nice designer clowns for my next build, I'm thinking a pair of long fins like I posted. Might be hard to get here in Canada but I'll find a way.

Designer clowns fetch a pretty penny. I own some moderate level designer clowns but don’t see the value in the super high end stuff.

That said, if I had a nano or smaller tank they would become more relevant to me. I have a lot of real estate for beautiful fish. :)

I’ve been trying to get my hands on a pair of truly naked clowns for awhile now!
