He's just beeing pacing and glass surfing non stop crashing into the glass for 15mins+ even though i closed the lights. I assume the popeye has lowered his vision or made him blind. Dont know if this is last moment panic before he leaves us...If the OP has a microscope, then FW dip as a diagnostic tool might be warranted - only Neobenedenia is large enough to see in dip water without a scope.
There is also an empirical test - if the fish improves the day after FW dip, then the issue is a gill parasite, either flukes or velvet.
But, a FW dip on a weak fish may cause its demise.
