Can you just flip the sump around and run the plumbing across the tank.

Sent Via the R2R Forum APP

The opening is smaller and i still need room for a live rock/ ATO tank to go next to it. And have the dosing pumps and their resolvers yep i need to plan this perfect to have room for everything.

i just read your whole thread love your build so far. i wish i would have did a custom stand for the 150 cube i have. the standard is so short. i cant wait to see it get wet.

I think that's why DIY stand are so Awesome because you can adjust the height and the with and the ledge and whatever you want to do To the stand that you desire. Grumpy how's the plumbing coming along? Have we decided on dry rock or live rock.

Thank you :) the stand is 31" to the tank. When i skin it i plan on doing 1" above the frame. And the canopy is going to be 23" frame height with 1" above and below. So its going to be tall.

The display will most likely be dry man made and i will have as much live rock as i can fit into the stand. :) ive never used a skimmer ive always ran carbon in my systems to polish the water but i might run a skimmer this time.

I'm running miracle mud in my 55 current. Little advise use a sock filter for 3-5day after you add it and add it first then water and if you can when you first start up your pump after you add water put a sock on the return line into your tank. I haven't noticed and difference good or bad but I also have had any problems at all in 1 1/2 years. Knock on wood

Yeah im going to put a ball valve on the return line so i can reduce the flow... im going to start it out slow and graduate faster so the mud is ok. Also my refugee has 1" strips running across it so erosion is limited in high flow.

What skimmer to choose? The Eshopps S-150 or the BM curve-5?
