due to popular demand...i broke up all the frag packs and am now selling it all seperately. i also added some cool frags that were not in the original frag packs...

so here's the deal. shipping is $40 via FedEx...sorry, nothing i can do about it. :( but free shipping if you go over $250. ;)

and i will ask for a 2 frag minimum purchase to make packaging/shipping worth while. all pics are WYSIWYG frags, most are mounted on frag plugs.

stuff in blue are good beginner sps.

1) unknown monti - has purple polyps and green base, frags bigger than frag plugs (2 frags, $45 each)

my larger frag: http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i186/hokieatrain7/corals/awesomeunknown.jpg

2) tyree undata - will turn green w/ purple edges when it gets bigger, small frag (1 frag, $75)

Some nice pieces! I hope this isn't off topic, but I just gotta say: I love the pics w/ the frogspawn (or hammer?) as the backdrop!! :D :D

lol thanks for the compliments! the frogspawn keeps running out of room due to how big its getting, so it went under the frag rack since it doesnt need much light. but now it *really* likes that spot and puffs up so much that its touching the bottom of the eggcrate...i may need to make frags soon...lol

btw...i'm putting together a response for you on your frag kits...stay tuned. ;)

I may pass, then, Al. I wanted the blue polyped acro more than anything else-was just adding a few more in to make it all more worthwhile... Sorry about that...

Are these guys hard to care for--ORA tort - blue and green, small frag 1" (1 frag, $20)? I have limited SPS experience (like basically one frag in my tank that is doing ok) and would like to have a few more. I am probably going to pick up a couple of the beginners above (acro tricolor, saramentosa, ORA nuclear green birdsnest) and wonder what you think of this mix for a beginner? TIA!

i think those corals are fine for a beginner. the only keys to keeping sps successfully are good water quality, good lights, good flow and stable water parameters (including nitrates, alkalinity, and calcium). keep all that in check and you can keep almost anything easily.

more sps means a greater demand for alkalinity and calcium, so you'll need to add some baking soda or calcium chloride (kents dry turbo calcium) every now and then.

you can use this calculator to figure out how much to add.

i dont think sps are that difficult...just take some care to keep the water in check.

i think the ORA tort would benefit the most from brighter lighting. its probably the slowest growing of the bunch. of course, they'll all flourish under some strong lighting.

Awesome frags!!!!!

Hey Al,

I got the package today. I don't know where to start .... You are one of the best sellers I have dealt with since starting this hobby 4 months ago!!!

Your prices are great. Your communication was excellent. You packaged them wonderfully. The frags are even better than the pics. All this ... and you threw in feeebies!!!

All I can say is thanks. And let me know when you have more for sale!!! You are now my favorite seller. Please use me as a reference when you need.

Thanks a billion,
Steve
