I have my reservoir 20-25 feet from my tank in a laundry room. I lose 30-40 gallons a week in evaporation. The reservoir under the tank took up too much room and I had to refill it weekly.

I made a jumper out of 18g speaker wire and ran it, and 1/4 tubbing through the attic. The whole thing worked great. I'm really happy with the Neptune ATO. I had to prime the line but the pump that comes with it is plenty strong enough. It sends water 12 feet up and around 20 feet over.

The only issue I ran into was the top optical sensor going off everytime the ATO kicked on. Because of the long drop it would overfill slightly. I fixed that by removing it and adding a magnetic sensor holder for the seconds sensor. (See pic)

This solved a lot of issues for me and gives me the freedom to leave my tank for long periods of time.

If anyone has any questions or wants a parts list I'd be happy to provide it

Where did you get the "magnetic sensor holder" from?

How big is your tank that you are having to top off 30-40 gallons a week?

It's about 600 gallons total water volume. I have a lot of flow and my tanks are open on the top. Refilling that container every few days with such a pain in the butt
