Damaged Torch Coral from Water flow

I foolishly placed my new torch at an angle where its polyps would slam into its skeleton without noticing. After a few days of being blind I finally see the damage being done and immediately remove it for a iodine dip of 10 minutes and placed him in a gentler lower light spot. This was yesterday. Today his condition seems to have worsened slightly so I took him out and washed out whatever dead/decaying matter i could and gave a coralRX dip for 4 minutes. No signs of BJD but he also seems to be worsening in condition. I'll take any tips or products yall recommend getting even short notice. Haven't fed the tank for fear of stressing the coral out.

Tank info:
40gal
Calcium 450ppm
Mag 1250 (it hit 1100 and ive veen raising it by 25ppm a day over some time to not stress too much aiming for 1350)
Nitrate >5ppm
Phosphates 0-1ppm
Alk 10-11
Ph 8.1-8.2 (depends if i have my windows open for CO2 removal)

I do have idoine, coralRX and 10 500mg tablets of cipro

I first noticed its polyps retracting then noticed its fleshband receding in one corner of it from the waterflow damage and thats when I began treatment.
