I just brought back a trachy. Generally looks happy but noticed this black hole on the side lip. Is that a problem and if so, how should I treat it?

Looks like someone’s home.
A tiny drop of crazy glue maybe?
 
possibly some sort of boring (as in bore into) animal like a barnacle or bivalve or something similar to a vermetid
