I got this hammer delivered yesterday. One of best flesh bands I’ve seen. But it grows over something poking through. Doesn’t seem to affect it. But something for me to watch

Doesn’t seem to bother it!

Based ob this experience I would recommend SBB for torches and hammers. Great flesh and and very healthy.

Ok I apologize. I do stand by the lugols recommendation but there is another tool for the arsenal I forgot to mention

A newer product called coral infection elimination. It is very very good for healing torch and hammer issues. It works different than lugols. And should be the next step. I wish I mentioned it in my last post. I will get you two links in a moment

If you plan to keep torch and hammer in future or any coral really, you should have this coral infection elimination product. It’s literally done miracles for me and many others. My experience with photos is in that thread

Ok, the hammer was much better today, polyp extension back to normal. I will still order that dip as a precaution just in case the flesh ressesion continues.
I'm leaving tomorrow morning my fishing trip, I'll be back Thursday. I made sure every parameter is in check and I have a tank sitter. I hope everything will be fine.

That's just how my spectrum looks, I prefer the natural look. I don't use a lense filter or anything. Once they are ramped up it gets a little more blue.

A coco worm may have better luck in a tank with wrasses. Their tube is made of calcium carbonate so wrasses won't be able to tear it apart. They are more expensive though, around $80-$100

Not to be argumentative but wrasses and "worms" dont go together well, depending on what wrasse. If it cant get through the tube it will still strike at the worm when its out and cause it to hide possibly causing it to starve. Just my opinion I have seen them together before.

Yes that could definitely still happen, I should've said that. Just saying they'd have a better shot at coexisting since their tube is more resilient.

I have had feather dusters with wrasses before. My dusky lived with one for over a year. Feather duster eventually just kicked the bucket.
