Definitely worm free (IMLagoon25)

I've had this idea floating around for awhile.
What if I removed the current stock of this tank and stocked this tank with a ton of small fish like 1 inch or less, masked gobies, tiger gobies, barnacle blennies, and small cardinalfish. I think that would be really awesome, and I think I could maybe get 10-12 fish if I stocked the tank like that.
What do yall think?
The problem is that I've become attached to my starry blenny and I don't want to get rid of him, so.... maybe a second tank is in order?

Also I fly back today!
I collected a mangrove propagule, sargassum algae, mermaid's fan algae, grape caulpera, and another macro that I'm still trying to ID. I had a good sized chunk of halimeda but it had a ton of nasties on it so I ended up throwing it back.

Send the starry blenny to me! I’ll treat him right.

Almost forgot, this was post #500

I don’t truly mind, it’s kind of just my tank diary, but it’s fun to have people’s thoughts!
Same. I do like interaction but I'm not in the click. Maybe we need to start out own click to get views/input ill read your if you read mine!

So... the macroalgae kind of turned to soup. It was probably the worst thing I've smelled in my life and it made my eyes water. There was a sole survivor, and it was my favorite one, still have absolutely no idea what it is though. It's the one at the bottom center. There's some bits of the others in there but I doubt they'll survive. That sargassum feels like soggy lettuce. I moved them into this bucket, the jar was absolutely rank.

Following the trend of unique additions...
I just picked up the sea fan and it's beautiful! I got this symphyllia as well, all for $70.
Noticing a little algae on the sea fan, can you dip these in peroxide? Also not sure where to put it.

Great news!
A lot of algae has just been flying off the sea fan since I put it in the highest flow area in the tank. ANNDD the Halloween hermit crab is able to get up there, and I've watched him eating the algae right off! He wins a gold star!
Also some of its polyps opened up earlier, and then closed once the light went to moonlight, which I didn't expect since this guy is non-photosynthetic.

So what are you feeding it? I have never had luck with these.
Yesterday I spot fed it the tiny bits of mysis that get everywhere when you thaw out the cube, all my filter feeders seem to like that. I'm ordering new life spectrum's reef cell, which was recommended to me by my friend's sister who works at a marine lab in Miami. Also getting brine shrimp and I might set up a culture eventually, she recommended that as well. We'll see how it turns out.
