Depressed Finger Leather

Whats up guys, so i have a question regarding my finger leathers. At my local fish shop I saw 2 really nice finger leathers fully expanded and looking quite big and nice for the mere $11.99 section they were in, so of course I bought them. In week 2 now I am quite disappointed in them. They both have developed a bend at the top and have not opened up any where close to the extent that I saw that day at the lfs. I have tried numerous spots around the tank from high to low light and current and nothing really seems to satisfy them. My parameters are good for the most part (nitrates around 15ppm) and everything else seems to be in check. I just don't know what else to do to satisfy these corals. I have phosguard in so maybe my phosphates are too low? is that even possible?? Any suggestions regarding placement or anything else would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
