  • - Light: Current USA 20” Sunpod HQI MH 150w with 14K Phoenix bulb plus retrofit 2 x 27w Sunpak actinic pc
  • - Light Mount: Custom DIY stand kit for SUNPOD
  • - Cooling System: Azoo Dual Fan
  • - Flow: MJ900 (back 3rd chamber)
  • - Skimmer: Sapphire Aquatics Solana/Cardiff NanoSkimmer
  • - Dual AutoTopoff with MJ900 Pump (5.5 gallon reservoir)
  • - Heater: 100W Stealth

  • Modifications:
  • - Installation of mounting bracket for SUNPOD
  • - Custom retro fitted 2 x 27w Blue Actinic PC lights
  • - Custom fitted egg crate for chemi-pure
  • - Added Stevie T underwater LED light to grow Chaetos
  • - Custom fitted Ice cracked shield to replace Solana stand window glass
Solana Aquarium Ecology
The main theme of the tank is a simple and clean feeling of a Bonsai look with a mixture of SPS, LPS, Softies, reef. Most corals will be SPS. There also will be other livestock that will be Tailspot blenny, paired Picasso Clown fish, and more later on.

Nice to see another Solana, I really need to get mine uploaded. I love your aquascaping. I especially love the zoa rock up front. Could you post some pictures of your modifications and your skimmer. Thanks for the post, your tank looks great!

awesome tank d' , corals are well placed with plenty of room, really digging the zoa island too.

how did you attach the side panels to the sunpod for actinics. i have the same sunpod and was wanting to add actinics also.
