She is correct, no longer allowed!!!! I was thinking 3 or 4 coral, she loaded up the box like a kid in the candy store ;Facepalm

Better pics later but these are ok.. Corals are still upset because of the dip but starting to open up.

Been a min since I updated my own thread.
lots going on in the Frag QT and everything else looks to be running ok at the moment.

Have some questions;

First; what the heck is this?? Sponge or Alga? Feels kinda solid compared to GHA.

Second; Have some sort of transparent bubble sitting right at the top of the skeleton of my Scoly.
Do I need to scrap it off or should I leave it alone? Not a great pic but its near the back of the frag qt and cant get in close enough for a better one.

The white stuff looks like algae, it doesn't have any of the determining features of a sponge (ie, pores). I'll ask my algae nut friend about it. The white thing on the scoly almost looks like a tunicate, but the pic isn't clear enough for a solid ID. I have seen LPS bounce from the base like this, not sure of the cause. My bet is a tunicate.

Huh, the strands look hollow in these pics! I guess it must be a sort of sponge. Looking at how it grows, I'll assume that's the case. If y'all have extra, I'll gladly take some off your hands!

Bubble on scoly:

It almost looks like a secondary polyp forming! I can see some orange pigments building up in it, but more importantly it has a central 'thing' that looks like an oral disc! Keep us updated on it, especially if it changes!
