i think unaerated new water is what accelerates dino population.

treat new water with peroxide/high ph/well aerated and nothing changes ime.

it does help cross the hump of winning dinos ime.

This is why I am working with metronidazole
So many people struggle to find ways to either out compete them or kill them with possible huge negative outcomes.

I asked myself a few weeks ago..
Why not beat them at their own game? Reproduction.
Any credit to what I am working with goes to @cowboy and my loving wife for bringing this forward for beating them down.
Let's all not forget these are protozoans
They all have the same purpose, to reproduce. Isn't that what life is about anyways?
So to make this all clear I used flagyl which is metronidazole by the advice of my wife.
Here it is, day 17

Now what I can tell you..
Reproduction has stopped just as planned.

Hitting them with metronidazole has made a predictable outcome.
Here is a shot from the exact book my wife uses for medical purposes (yes she is in the medical field )

I have based all this work from the simple word "DNA "
This whole thread is about making results and I will achieve this!
Sure we may not have dosing with metroplex down to a tee but we will get there with all the member support of this effort.

What about the part about contraindications and precautions and the part after that about adverse effects-it's right there on the page to the right.

Do you think making sure the drug is mixed well in water may perhaps release some of the metro in the air or putting your hands in the tank might lead to absorption. Steven-johnsons syndrome-hmmm that doesn't sound good. The drugs is indeed used in the aquarium trade a lot but that does not necessarily make it appropriate. My point is it is a serious medication with serious potential problems that you should be aware of.

Pro-longed oral ingestion could cause rare side-effects.

I am sure seachem would not sell a product if there was serious bodily harm ;)

Thank you!
And where did you come from lol
I think we may have shared interests ;)
I was raise to be fearless, to always go against the grain, and to live by good morals and common sense. Not to mention I am a professional 'Googler', if it were a term... lol
