O QUE OUTRAS PESSOAS estao dizendo
4 desmontar.

that looks like diatoms to me, and coincides with new rock. It's feeding off the silicates introduced by the fresh rock. It should go away on its own. you can also run GFO to help reduce it. How long has this tank been running?

Over 6 months it was all going real good and corals are real happy still. But when I introduced new rock this happened. I do not have gfo but I have phosguard I just put it to help. I am going to do a big water change today. Are these harmful to corals? I was not sure what I had just seemed like this is what was going on with it growing on the new green hair algae that cropped up. I am aio no sump I believe 47 g breader tank 48 lbs rock 40 lbs sand. If you need more info let me know.

is this dinos or diatoms?

Its unlikely anyone can give a confirmation of Dinos vs Diatoms withouth a view under the microscope.
They often appear to be very similar to the naked eye.

By your pictures it looks more like green hair algea to me. But hard to say
