I have dinos that are on my sand bed and made their way onto some corals. Mostly just on the sand bed. It is not stringy or bubble.
I used a microscope and they are unarmored dinos.
30 gallon display with eshops rs 100 sump. so about 30 to 35gallons of actually water volume with estimation of equipment rock and coral etc.
My salinity always stable 1.025 , temp 77.8 to 78, alk 8.0, ca 430. mg 1400, phosphates .06, nitrates .48, potassium 385. ph 8.1 to 8.3.
attempts I took already to eradicate. Been adding 5ml of BrightWell Aquatics Microbacteria 7 for last 5 days.
I have been running an IM aqua shield uv sterilizer midsize ( 11 wats) in one of the baffles of the internal overflow before it gets to the exeternal overflow to sump. relevant dosing I dose 1.8 to 2ml of nopox daily along with 4ml red sea reef nutrition ab
I use ro water and vinegar when cleaning any tank equipment. TDS is around 0. I have a reef octopus 150 sss sump kind of overkill but want to use it when i upgrade to larger tank. I change my sock filter once a week when doing water changes. I change around 15% (4 to 5 gallons) weekly. I do blow off the sand when i see it getting worse.
I cannot risk doing a light out period and i will not raise my water temp.
I have to radion gen 4 xr15 pros but only set to 31% brightness because i have a 30 L shallow tank. max par is 250.
WHAT other options do i have ? am i doing something wrong. Do i need to upgrade to a better sterilzer ?
would lowering my phosophates more help rid dinos by starving them. only wory would be that it would also starve my coral. would cheato still be ok to run in my refugium
