I got a freebie coral, a leather toadstool, with a clean up crew order.

I wasn't expecting the coral, nor did I particularly want it.

Would I be OK to dip the coral in Coral Rx? I wasn't able to find anything on the Coral Rx website about using it on leather corals.

I have done this with a toadstool when I originally purchased it 6 months ago, mostly I was suspect of the rock it was (and still is) attached to . The coral struggled for the first month and I’m not sure if it was due to the dip or general coral health, but it is now 3 times the original size and threatening to take over its area. It’s a good problem to have! :)

I have 5 different toadstools and have dipped all of them, didn't seem to be an issue although one took about a month to open it's polyps, not sure if it was the dip or not but it's fine now.

Toadstools do not like to be handled and will take weeks to recover.Once placed do not touch them.I have dipped many toadstools and never had any problem.
