DIY algae scrubber

[20 gallon nano]

I made this for my IM 20 gallon reef tank. All the plumbing is internal besides the incoming and outgoing from the bottom. Comes in from the main recirculating pump in the sump and goes out from the 2 exit ports into the display.

The only thing that is missing is a overflow tube. Didn’t have space for it. That’s why I have a shutoff switch/sensor inside to automatically shutoff the pump if it clogs and then I get a alert from the apex on my phone that the sensor was tripped.

This is about 5 days of the first growth. Did not harvest yet.
