Setting up fuge and bought some spanking brand new Chaeto or veggie spaghetti as i like to call it when I noticed this little guy floating around so is this one of those mythical beast that will eventually be 6 feet and come out at night and haunt me like freddy or is this one of the little buggers that eats crap my spoiled fish neglect

I'm not sure what that is exactly, but I would just toss it over your shoulder and forget about it. I'm pretty sure it won't be missed. :)

You realize it is one specific nudi that eats aptasia right? There are over 3000 species of nudibranchs, many of which do harm to the tank, such as the montipora eating and zoanthid eating varieties, all of which can become a potential disaster.

It's pretty hard to photograph it was free swimming and I haven't put it in the fuge yet . The Chaeto.

unless you can get a 100% id get rid of it. As mentioned above some nudi's are bad,bad,bad.

Yeah with that I would say its 99% a sabellidae (feather duster) worm of the small variety. They are extremely common in established systems. Do whatever you want with it, there will be plenty more where that came from.

Yup its deffinitly mylastname+worm. You could keep it if you want, i have quite a few hangin around in my sump
