I'm setting up a 12g nc and was wondering if small tanks like this is beneficial to get a skimmer? I've read as long as I keep up with water changes I don't need a skimmer on such a small tank. If I do need one, where can I get one that would fit in th back chambers?

you really dont need one on a nano as long as your consistant with water changes but a skimmer will help export nutrients and waste in the tank. not sure of specific makers for nanos but i do know there out there

I have one on my 20L. It doesn't pull much but it's nice to have in case I get lazy and miss a water change.

I would say no and that water changes will do the job. That being said I feel dirty if I don't have one! LOL!

As others have said with a nano if you are consistent on doing your water changes a skimmer is not necessary.

I have a 12g Nano Cube and did very well with just water changes. I did a 20-30% water change every week. But I mostly kept sofites and LPS, so I can't say much for overall SPS growth.
