I tend to lean toward individuals that have actual first hand experience. I am not interested in the regurgitation of forum myths and urban legends. If you're treating your live stock with compassion and providing the best husbandry within your means than learn as you go. I have issues with people that try to re-invent the wheel thinking they will be the ones to achieve an instant reef.
No one knows all the ins and outs, trust me. I fail at plumbing, sometimes chemistry concepts like ORP....I know my limitations.

I will at in a couple of months! I tried a move thread, but I gave in and didn't think it is worth losing anything in my tank. I traded everything in my tank for a better reptile enclosure to meet my my needed in Oregon's climate. Love my Columbia red tail boa (male)!
My new tank will include lights as a heat source for my tank and power efficiency as I hope... Still thinking about the ins and outs. ;)
