I decided to take the plunge and get 5 of these in an upcoming shipment.

What do you all think?

Gigantea have always been my favorite anemone. Yes they can be a little tough to keep but........

They have a gorgeous undulating shape
longer tentacles
Great color (pinky/purple, yellow, blue)
They don't need a sandbed
Lots of different clownfish will host in them

One of the most important things I have learned is that if the specimen was collected responsibly and without injury the likelyhood of survival is greatly increased.

Lots of light and flow are required of course.

About 6-8"

I have requested two of the pink/purples, two blue, and one yellow.

I love them but...........the just don't have a survival rate I like. LFS thinks they are getting two red ones. Last time they thought that they got RBTA's. I'm bettin that's what they get again. The pic looks good. I hope they come in healthy for you. They sure are beautiful.

Lots of flow........good advise. I will make sure they pump up the volume before they get them.

If I can actually get my hands on them I will know for sure. Chances are they will be in the $175-200 range. Still cheaper than your average red Haddoni but still up there.

I am trying to get 15 and a load of awesome rose bubbles.
