I've finally got by dream fish after keeping marine for nearly 6 years. I now have a 5ft by 2ft set up.

Questions I need help with is I also have fast moving fish in here like angels and tangs it's a fowlr system.

When I add food the puffer is slowish to react and the other fish race to it so I have to add more.

I'm worried it may get outcompeted.

I clipped a shrimp to a algae clip and it did have a good pick at that but I couldn't tell if any was going in its mouth.

Is here any frozen food any one can point me in the direction of?

Also he's very shy and appears to.be hiding a lot and coming out in bits. I saw him feeding in the lfs and he fought a lionfish for the food so I know he's got a bite to him.

I used to along time ago. I kept two fowlr tanks with puffers, triggers, marine betta and lion fish. I had to get creative with feeding the marine betta, lion and puffer. Marine betta was the hardest

I have a yellow belly dogface in my 250 gallon fowlr with fast fish and mine was shy at first also. But he got over it in about a week just make sure you have plenty of rockwork so everyone has there own "spot". But I feed mine silversides, krill, squid. He now eats out of my hand like a puppy dog lol
