I know you can’t mix sodium bicarbonate and sodium Hydroxide but could you mix sodium hydroxide and sodium carbonate as a component of a two part dosing regime ?
The may have an intermediate effect on raising ph as well as increasing KH compared to dosing either solution on their own. This would be dosed with calcium chloride to raise calcium and a magnesium sulphate chloride mixture to raise magnesium levels. A and C trace element also to be added

You can mix them - but the result is sodium carbonate.

I like to 'keep things simple'. Though mixing sodium carbonate and sodium hydroxide would 'work' I like to dose individual chemicals as compared to a mixture. Any effect on pH would be limited. You can do it but I wouldn't do it.

You can mix bicarbonate and hydroxide, but it just gives carbonate. You can also mix hydroxide and carbonate or bicarbonate and carbonate.
