Dosing your tank

How many ml does your tank need of calcium and alkalinity. Do you dose it all at once. Let me know im just curious

Via the Jebao DP-4 I dose equal amounts of Ca/ALK 2x daily at 10ml each. 40B/20L sump dominant LPS/SPS

My tank Is getting 65ml. of calcium and alkalinity dosed over a 24 hour period. Magnesium is dosed at 10 ml. a day. Before dosing you have to figure out what your consumption rate is for your tank. Using a dosing pump is much better at keeping tank stable than manually dosing.

I have a 180G and a 125G tank plumbed together to a 150G Rubbermaid sump

The tank is still growing. I think I have 2 lps and 32 sps species. Mostly frags

At one point I was dripping kalk 24 hours a day plus dosing 40ml 2 part daily in a 29 gallon.

I dose ~1 gallon of kalk (ok, 0.95gal) per day in my 120 broken up so it doses 150ml every hour. This raises alk a bit under 1dkh/day and is equivalent to about 77ml of Randy's 2 part. I also dose 17ml of 2 part for around 0.2dkh/day. So for total use it would be around 94ml/day right now. My tank is rapidly increasing consumption and I hold the kalk at that dose and raise the 2 part to match demand going forward.
