What is your dream tank, within some type of reasonable budget? I mean nobody saying like "I want a public aquarium in my house" or anything along that wavelength hahah.

Mine is a 24-30 gallon nano thats zoanthids only. Thatd be really cool, and as far as fish, something interesting. I really like Flricordea's frogfish so Ill go with one of those. Then a 55-120 gallon with mostly LPS, maybe a green polyped toadstool or some rarer softies/zoanthids for growing out.

Once I graduate college, you can bet Im going to set up the LPS tank first thing!!! Mark my words!! Ill still be in this hobby 3 yrs down the road.

Share!

A tank that I could fit 5000 frags in easily with plenty of room for my mother colonies to grow out. Since that's not going to happen, we're setting up like 4 more tanks. ;]

Hahah, thats a lot of tank space. Youve got a business though, if you can afford it then more power to you! I like my nanos because of their compactness, but I also will have a large tank with the cabinet and such to show off to house guests

You should swing by one of these days when you're in the area, we're in Coral Gables. We can shock and awe you, well that's been the general response from people that have come over lately. lol

If Im ever down that way, Ill shoot you a voicemail or something. Dont usually go down there too much. Last time was to check out Big Al's, which was a big disappointment. Never a good sign when you ask someone how much a platygyra is and he says "ughh like 40 or 50 dollars."

My dream tank is about 450 gallons and is 36"x96"x30". I love the depth on tanks! It would be so cool to have a tank that was zoas in the front on the very bottom and go to LPS then have all your SPS and things that grow upward in the back, it would look like a true reef!

I gotta say both of the tanks I have right now are pretty much it that are within reason of what I will be able to afford anytime soon........next house I will have a coupel of inwalls though......dont foresee wanting to set them up any differently besides the inwall thing. I have spared no effort nor expense in either of them.

if we want to dream...........it would be THIS ONE

L shaped tank for whatever I want. Or a 92g Corner tank. both sw. then when I build a new house ill be putting in a 400g FW stingray tank. Most likely I will just have motoro rays.

yep yep now I just need to get that guy to show me how he takes pic's of his tank lol, My dream tank is one I can swim in so maybe not reef but deffenatly saltwater.

+1 on that tank! ha but i would say like an entire wall tank maybe 6ft high with a canopy for the rest? that or a reef pond! i've also always wanted like tubes going through the house with fish swimming through that'd be really cool

sadly, my dream is to just have a sick looking 92 gallon bowfront corner tank. i dont want anything huge and all, as the workload involved is insane.

either the corner tank, or a 110/120 wide or something.
