Hello everyone! I have a quick question about my Duncan frag I got about a month ago now that I placed in my 13G nano from my 55G. So I placed this frag in my nano to see if it would do any better, as it was always closed and a very dull brown in my 55G. About one week ago it opened up really well! Even turned a beautiful neon green! Now here is the question, since opening I have been spot feeding mysis shrimp and I went to go feed today and noticed my Duncan not fully opened up with a split down the center of the polyp I do have a clown and was wondering if it was damaged, but my clown is usually pretty good with all my corals. Not entirely sure what's going on but he is still fully colored! a little confusing for me.

Duncans are finicky. It can take a long time for them to open and fully acclimate.
Additionally, it's been said (rumors on various threads here) they will close up for a while while they're working on splitting.
If it isn't closed, I'd say the clown is leaving it alone and it's working on splitting.

Oh that's pretty cool! it is opened up now with that still split down its middle into its mouth pretty neat to think that it may be splitting

I'd just give it some time.
