Recently, my relatively new elegance coral has come down with a disease. It was great for a month after I bought it, but now the tentacles don’t extend even though the body does. There is also white fuzz and brown stringy tissue around the tentacles and the body of the coral.

I believe the cause of this is from a Condy anemone that shed some tentacles (either from damage or something) and landed on the coral.

Regardless, I really need advise on how I should treat this and stop the infection.

So far, I started with a concentrated iodine dip (reef dip by seachem) and squirted dilute iodine solution directly over infected areas (recommended for severe infection on bottle).

Thanks in advance
