Emerald crab lost??

Have a small EC for about 1 1/2 weeks...I saw him once when I moved a piece of rock...no idea if he's alive, happy, dead...Is this typical...are they more nocturnal than diurnal?...Like to know what to expect from him in my 10 fusion...:oops:

Mine tends to hide and come out late at night. I haven't seen mine for months, then all of the sudden he's out and about

If you sneeze by the tank they will vanish for weeks! (joke).
I have between 5 and 8 in my tank, they are very shy and mostly nocturnal. :)

Mine went missing for a year and only showed up when I got a new one. That was awkward.
