In my Toastmasters International class, I'm considering giving a short speech on our coral reefs and things we can do from our homes to help protect the environment including the coral reef.

What are some bullet points that I might want to mention?

Thanks for your input.

You may want to throw something in there about responsible macro algae disposal

You can help to educate people who buy corals about how to care for them so more wild corals live. If more wild corals live, grow, and can be fragged adding to the aquaculture trade we will take less from our wild reefs. It all starts with education. Buy aquacultured corals and tank bred fish. Use an efficient RO filter to save water. Conserve water. Find a way to most efficiently heat or cool your tank. Use more efficient lighting, or natural sunlight.

btw, would you mind posting you presentation or bullet points when you are done for everyone to see? I think its great your looking to help out the environment.

Thanks!
Kris
