Nicrew is good. I prefer my Noops to my Nicrew but the Nicrew is still great after 4 or 5 years.

Finally! Shipping notification for the new printer. Delivery is scheduled for Thursday. I'm really looking forward to the AMS system on the P1S.
Did you buy the PS2 combo and also an AMS 2 Pro for the P1S?

Do you have the laterst version of the Nicrew?

No, just the P1S with AMS. I bought it through Bambulabs on their Amazon store. Shortly after I purchased it they marked that product as "Currently Unavailable". It's showing as shipped though so we'll see if they replaced it with something else.

Nope! I have one of the older pre-HyperReef Nicrew with an inline controller. It has white and blue controllability only.

The noopsyche
I've got two of the older controller style Noops over my 70 and two of the newer app controlled units over my 110 freshwater (with a Neptune Sky in between).

I also have a Noopsyche Mini over my sump for the Anemones.

That's a stock photo, not mine. Mine have shades on them.

Ahhhh.. yes, I remember that you ordered the P1S with the AMS for $550 now. Thanks for the correction/reminder.

If I were to go by what most I have seen here, on R2R, say about them, the new Nicrews are supposed to be pretty rockin'.

What would you take if you had The noopsyche or a Radion Xr series given to you and why

Well, of course, they do. It's because you're such a cool dude!

What is the difference between K7 V3 and K7 Pro 3? I have the K7 V3 and never used it. I'm thinking of putting it on my QT with my KP Aquatics live rocks. It's starting to loose it coralline algae

I've never used Radions. I've used Noopsyche since I upgraded from my first 6 gallon. I'd give Radions a try for sure, but, again, my Neptune Sky is over my 110 freshwater for a reason - my corals have done really well under Noops and sometimes upgrades end up causing more trouble than they're worth.

I won a pair of Hydras a little under a year ago, but they never showed up. They were going on my Nanos, not my 70 so there's that.

V3 has the newer controllers, Pro III and Pro3 are app controlled.

K7 Pro II was the old dial style controllers. They were 90 watt. I had one of those, it might still be around here somewhere.

V3 has the shade, Nicrew has no shade.

Hey Steve, were you around for the Pineapple days? Looks like 4 years ago today!
