So i decided to install the Inkbird controller on the tank today. Interesting thing happened though: i noticed that the cheapo digital thermometer I had installed actually read a little lower than normal today - 77.3°F. It's been at 77.9°F almost constant since I installed it so that has me a little concerned. Installed the Inkbird and it was reading 76.2°F. installed a second cheapo digital and it read 76.2°F. installed the Inkbird titanium heater and it read 76.2°F... my tank has been running a little cold I guess. Well, the old heater must not be working but the Inkbird Titanium has been slowly raising the temperature. Up to 78.0°F over the last 2 hours according to the controller.

So I know I posted a few weeks back that my Leopard Wrasse was getting skinny and didn't appear to be eating. I got some frozen cubes of Zooplankton and she would pick through it and eat some and spit some out so I was trying to feed some of those cubes more frequently and she started gaining weight. Then, I happened to toss in some Ocean Nutrition Reef Prime Flakes and she "tasted" them and would spit some out but eat a good bit.

As of today, she's fat and happy and eating EVERYTHING I throw in the tank - flakes, pellets, frozen, freeze dried, etc. she's eating and growing!

Well, I had big intentions of updates yesterday or today BUT I ran out of time. I haven't gotten to see the tank with the lights on since Thursday evening. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we left before 6 and got home after 9. Corals look fine with the flashlight and everything seems ok. I'll check the fish tomorrow (if I'm home before lights out, another long day tomorrow unfortunately).
