Things looked a little better this morning with the hair algae thinning out. It's weird how AFTER I do the water change to remove the ReefFlux it gets better. The red is creeping into the sand bed and lower rocks out of flow again.

Not sure if it's Nitrates or Phosphates - I need to check. I'm guessing Nitrates since I just finished Reef Flux and that tends to drive my phosphates up. That'll happen this afternoon or tomorrow.

Any thoughts on the hydros feeder? I dropped my eheim in the tank.
My thoughts - costs more than the Eheim but it's the Eheim. Biggest plus to the Hydros is that it doesn't need batteries.

Downside besides cost - it doesn't have the circulation fan that the Eheim has if I remember correctly. The circulation fan only runs when it's spinning though anyway.

Also, my Eheim has gone in the tank several times. Pull the batteries and let it dry for a couple of days and then replace the batteries and see if it works.

Do you have to plug the hydros into a port?

I was under the impression it was a drive port accessory... Let me check.

But it uses desicant instead of the fan for moisture control.

So I can feed my Dragon's Breath to my Tang, right? It's not highly invasive so even if the Foxface and Tomini choose not to eat it, it won't be terribly bad.

That's about a half gallon of the stuff.

I just won the Tunze Nanostream Turbelle.

I gotta go find out if my LFS carries the Hydros Tunze adapter and get a 0-10V. I'll probably pick up a Reed door switch while I'm at it and get the door "alarmed".

Traded in a couple of corals at another LFS this morning. They gave me $25 in store credit. My wife spent $24.96 on snails and plants for her 110. The guy looked at me trying to figure out what to do so I told him, "It's ok. I don't need the $0.04."

That dragon’s breath looks amazing. I didn’t think about the impact on getting to have decorative macroalgae when I got my tuxedo urchin 😞.

Unfortunately in the 8, it strips nutrients. I'm going to take a clump and add it to the Sump I'm thinking.

Both nutrient export from the 8 and start assisting in nutrient export in the 70?

Ugh... Fairly certain I'm facing Dinos again. Working on it now. Scraped the glass and dosed some Coral Snow. MB7 will be here tomorrow.

Oh well. This too shall pass.
