Euphyllia tank questions

I would like to set up a euphyllia only tank and I was wondering if it would need fragging considering they can touch each other?

How do I frag them?

I may be flirting with the devil, but my torch touches my hammer. Never had an issue. My LFS who specializes in them, does the same thing.

Light have been out a while, so they are a bit retreated right now. But during the day they are fully expanded and happy as can be. But this is just my experience. Not saying it’s right or wrong.

From my research yes but I am confused on how to frag them and do branching and wall types use different fragging techniques?

Of course they use different ways. Stay away from wall types. They don’t last long

There are some good videos on YouTube for fragging them. I have no experience with wall variety but the branching type are very easy.

They are confusing. I had a glabrescens burning paradivisa in my big tank. But after fragging I put them in another tank and in that tank they dont burn. Very strange especially as both tanks are in the same water system and also have the same light. But all forms of paradivisa seems riskfree to each other.

Sometimes we forget they are animals and can like or dislike their neighbors. I had a medium sized frogspawn once that had mushrooms surrounding its base with no issues. One day I look over and it is stretching out a couple of heads stinging a mushroom six inches away. I have attached a picture of a frogspawn and a hybrid frogspawn that have been next to each other for a year, up until yesterday. I had to frag the regular because the hybrid didn't want to share its area and the regular frogspawn started to melt away.

majority yes, but sometime you have the one torch that don't like to be around other and kill everyone around. I had one of those that I bought and place next to a torch I had for year and it stung it really bad. end up moving to different tank. Have no problems with hammers or frogspawn.
