Evening Time Gig Video

Got a good video of my Green and Purple Gig during the evening hours before lights out. I love watching my Sub Zero pair manage the Gigs. The Green has grown up to 12ish inches (it rarely extends and stretches out) the purple is a little smaller probably 9ish inches. They share the light with each other every day trading time overlapping to get light. These two have been together going on 2 years now.

If you can try to separate them. They really try to shade and kill the other if they can. Either separate them or else keep careful watch over them and feed the losing one to get it to grow to regain the balance

There is no way to seperate them unless I tear up the pillar and rip out their footing. I think they are good where they are. They have been together for 2 years. They get feed every evening by the clowns. I will continue to monitor them and if issues arise I will separate them.

IOS Devices have a hard time loading videos on here. My windows pc can load them, but my iPhone or Mac can't

Love the small Multi color one. I would love to get one of those and complete my collection of Gigs! If you ever find one that needs a new home or for sale let me know.

Love the lagoon look of your tank as well! Mirroring their natural habitat is cool!

This one of mine is really multicolor. It has blue, green, red/orange and purple. Too bad the colors is so light cannot appreciate with photo. In person you can see these colors.

most brown gigs are hiding secret colors that they show once they settle in.

i have the exact same home depot spotlight on my gigs, did i unwittingly copy orion? LOOL

I have a green tipped gigantea that has light pink tipped tentacles mixed among them if you look more closely. But from afar, its still mostly a bland green tipped brownish gig.

Comes on at 11AM and stays on til 4PM.
