Reefing is getting pretty costly with Acro's for sure but love Audi's.

If that model has the 4.0 TFSI engine, you should really check out APR for an ECU modification.

My S6 will break loose all four wheels hitting 2nd gear. Without racing fuel.

The numbers are pretty unreal...

Classic cars is a really expensive hobby and I’ve owned a few of them:

1972 El Camino
1966 Dodge Polara
1972 Pontiac Firebird
1971 Nova
1967 Dart

To be fair, I had a career in the automotive world until five years ago. I mostly focused on repair, writing diagnostic procedures (you’ll see my work in Mitchell One instructions) and writing website content for an autozone-owned accessory company full of non-car people. I actually went to college for this stuff, but now I’m happily wasting my education on cleaning high school classrooms even if it does make me a little sad due to the fact that I know more about automotive stuff than anything else.

Home theater, guns and gaming are where the majority of it goes after reefing. Well, the majority of what is left after the wife and kids eat through it.....

And everyone just glossed over his murder hobby?! Given it's Cromag, I initially assumed it was 3D printing or something, but those look somewhat more real. So I'll bite... is it the lawyer's fees that are the expensive part of that hobby @cromag27 ?

Family reminded me that when I went from driving Honda/Acuras and purchased a trio of 7 series BMWs, nothing cost more once they got over 60-75k miles... at least 6 turbos on two cars, engine on one (warranty, though), electronics like crazy, hoses and gaskets, sensors, chewing through tires, air bag modules, CV axles like crazy, clock springs, screens, buttons and probably a million things that I have blocked out. I did all of the non-warranty work myself and it still cost a fortune. Had a Genesis g90 for a while now and have 115k on it with no problems whatsoever, so put the 7 series in my rear view and destroyed those memory cells in my brain. I almost pulled the trigger on a v12 760 and SOOOOO glad that I did not. Probably Genesis and Ford Trucks for me from now on.

Off topic, but how can a German company that was making turbos since at least WWI not be able to get it right? And every other company has hoses and gaskets that last several hundred thousand miles. I have always thought that BMW and Audi should go to the Tunze or Ehiem factories and learn how to do stuff right (I helped a friend replace a $100 fuel pump in his a6 and we had to take nearly the whole back clip off - stupid design).

It seems BWM stands for Big Money Waste right?
Three running motorcycles, boat, 1984 300ZX 50th AE, 2005 Audi A4 convertible, bees, Reef tank, multiple aquariums, stands, equipment in storage all new as I used to be in the business of building aquariums and stands for over 20 years (very expensive hobby). Would love to sell out my current business and all the collected stuff and buy a plane.

Aside from reefing...? Well, I spoil my grandkids rotten. And lol... my dogs : )

My newest hobby is photography...not exactly boat or vintage car expensive, but when you realize I just bought this mostly to be able to take pics of my tank, then yeah... not cheap.

Ack, I confused my 70s/80s digital watches in movies ;Facepalm
Looks like Mr. Bond had another Seiko option later
