Extension cord off of Apex power bar??

Hello All. Just setting up my apex. Does anyone know if it is ok to extend the heater cord with a properly sized extension cord running into the Apex power bar??

Definitely.

I even use these things with no problem, to position a manual cutoff switch where I need it.

I do it to run the heater on my freshwater tank 6 feet away with no issues. Just match or go larger on the cord gauge.
