I usually try to follow what my mamma taught and if you cant say anything nice, don't say anything at all. So to stick to that, I will just explain very quickly what happened to me and you can make your own judgment.

I ordered on Dec 21, 2009. At the end of their ordering process, they allow you to give instruction on shipping that you see at the bottom of your invoice as follows:

Total: $183.48
Please do not ship this until Monday Dec 29, I do not want to risk this getting delayed during the Christmas rush.

Thank you.
Jerry

On Dec 30 I called because I had not been notified of a tracking number, and was told that the order did not go out. I was told 'the person on the phone' would talk to the boss about shipping it on Friday with them paying for Sat delivery, and then would be notified as to what would happen.

On Sunday Jan 4 I sent the following email to them:
I was just wondering when my order will be shipped. I am not very pleased with the lack of communication on your part. I ordered my corals before Christmas with specific shipping dirrections for them to be sent last monday so that I got them last Tuesday. I called on Tuesday and they had still not been shipped. Then I was told that I would get a call back as to what was happening with my order. That call came, and I was told that they would be sent out on Friday with a Sat delivery after the person on the phone comfirmed it with the 'boss'. I was never again notified as to what was going to happen.

Please give me a call tomorrow and let me know what is happening. If I don't hear from you tomorrow, I expect to have my money returned in full, and you can cancel my order.

Jerry Ohrn

So when I checked my email the next day, there was the refund of the total order. Personally like the last line says, I would have rather just received a phone call saying 'your order will be on its way today, and we threw in an extra frag for the delay, sorry.' At least I got my money back, but that still does not put these colors in my tank.

You be the judge.

I placed an order for a large sun polyp colony and a total of 10 snails ($5+ each) in November 2008. I received my shipment, but only the sun polyp colony was there. I emailed them asking if they forgot the snails and at that time I get an email stating that they forgot to let me know that the snails would be shipped as soon as they get them in.

Long story short and after numerous promises by Scott that I would be refunded for the snails that still have not shipped to date.. I haven't even received my refund back. It has been nearly 2 months and I think I've been more than patient enough.

I'm not sure what I need to do next, it's not like we are talking about robbing a bank... total about $60.

The sun polyp colony is gorgeous and well worth what I paid for it.

I still have not received my refund nor any communication from the company. I do not understand how they can conduct business like that. Oh well, they definitely lost my business.

From what I understand... The whole business at Extreme Corals just moved. They packed up everything and have moved to a new location. I have not ordered from them but... I'm sure all this has something to do with the recent delays. Like I said, I dont work for them and have never done business with them but hopefully that explains why you have been having issues lately.
