Facebook hack

Has anyone else's accounts been hacked? My account was hacked this evening, and I currently have it back in my possession as of now.

While I was messaging on there, it told me my account was disabled due to suspicious activity, and to go to Facebook.com to re log in and get my account back, after I entered one of those stupid weird letter things, I got my account back, changed my pw, and I now have control over it.

Has this happened to anyone else recently? Some of my friends on Facebook said this has happened to them as well, but I'm just checking to see if it's happened to anyone else....

This doesn't mean your account was hacked. It's usually caused when someone reports inappropriate activity, on your account.

yeah then I had to type in a few security codes and my security question and change my password. It also said something about phishing...

You got your account back though right?!?! I was able to recover mine.

I dont know why its going on, Im hoping its just idiots hacking people.

Yeah I got everything back. My friend had me worried, they asked me who I've ticked off recently haha. I hope it is too, probably a bot or something. But like you said, I don't think I did anything wrong.

I really hope its just a dang bug, cause I use facebook for my communication device if I dont have someones number aswell as posting my pictures, lol

no doubt! I use facebook quite a bit so I was slightly enraged haha. I use it as a photo storage site, its the easiest.

Same thing happened to me on Saturday ..... said account was accessed from a location they didn't recognize and had to re-do passwords etc. Said mine was accessed from somewhere in Spain of all places!

what it is the "smart" people out there who like to get into other peoples info are trying to get into your account. the facebook system notices this and then disables your account to stop them from getting to it, it then gives the person a chance to reenter data and info that indentifies them as the owner and then a chance to reset evreything and get the account back.
