IT'S FALL Y'ALL!

With fall finally here again we start to kick off a new season in reefing....normally. More people generally come out of "summer vacation" mode and start to spend more time reefing, working on special projects, etc. What about you? Let's talk about it!

Do you have any special reefing plans for the fall season? If so what are they!

I just finished my first culture of phyto. Turned 32 ounces in to way too friggen much and ended up buying a mini fridge for my closet. Now I plan to perfect my phytoplankton growth and attempt culturing copepods. Mandarin Dragonette was the reason I got into the hobby so I'm going to have a mandarin Dragonette.

No this culture is not dead. It's just very yellow on camera. It's green in person

Definitely going to do some work on my cabinet and cable management. When I setup my new system in the summer I was focused on getting everything up and running as I was moving over livestock from my older system. Sump is good but the dry side is chaotic. Hoping to jump into the Neptune Systems world and mimic what @Broadfield did on his dry side of the sump.
Also wanting to get some more high end pieces like a CSB and more fish so my nutrient levels can increase and color up my Acros. Hoping to join the Tang Gang by December, just need to get all of my other fish before hand. Few wrasses and possibly an angel.

i cant think

Hunting down some nice coral and maybe grabbing a second clam for my 3’ nano. Not much for me in terms of fish. Maybe collect a few more rare-ish inverts.

Trying to get phosphates up from 0.00 ... dosing NeoPhos ... 0.02 an hour later then back to 0.00 the next day.
Can't wait until I just keep dumping it in without testing and then, one day, notice 2ppm ... doh!

P.S. dry rock sucks,,, just kidding (kinda)

I'm going to finish my 120 gallon! I need to unfortunately replace the top trim.

I really want to upgrade my frag system to a larger shallow tank over the 20 gallon long in using now.

I don't have a lot of mods to do, but a couple come to mind. I was in the process of adding my calcium reactor to the system. However, after speaking to a fellow reefer and seeing how he manages a similar tank, I am instead setting up to use All For Reef. I really want to figure out a way to add some LED actinic lights to my T5's to get more pop from the corals. Unfortunately, the ATI T5 fixture covers the entire surface of the tank. I'm looking for ideas.
