Thanks for the advice on the gig! I’ll keep my eyes peeled!

I’ve actually started to do water changes every 2 months. With going with the Dastaco Calcium reactor and it’s media, I’m only getting straight alk and Ca with it and no trace elements so changing water is probably a good idea at this point.
Why not run Reborn or similar? It seems to keep my trace stuff in line. (Granted, I also change about 20% per month.) The only exception is Iodine for some reason. I have no idea where it all goes.

The Dastaco runs at 6.0 pH to dissolve media. It is non-configurable as that is the whole design.... every setting is static so the only one you change is the output level which is based on the amount of effluent released. Reborn I heard turns to slush at that pH. Dastaco media is just calcium carbonate... nothing else... dense as all can be.

TGC Northern Crush

Wow! This is the nicest pic of TGC Northern Crush I’ve seen. I got a frag a couple years ago and can’t color it up like that. I broke a piece from the original one and put it in different location in the tank getting higher light but still looks the same. Some crappy iphone6 pics

I joked with the guy I got it from for the longest time what a turd this acro was. Nothing special and always mostly brown. Then it started to do that and I was like... uhhh... I apologize for doubting you. :D

Aquatic life Hybrid with Radion G4 Pros running AB+ and 2 actinic and 2 blue + bulbs.
I thought you preferred a whiter look? Not doubting or questioning that (corals look amazing ;Drool ), but it's certainly nowhere near the T5 mix you had before that included 6500k.

Roger that. I only tested at startup on mine and it was 6.8 IIRC. A mix of personal skeleton, Reborn, ARM coarse, Middle Keys. (It was all hands on deck with Covid supply chain struggles). All would be mush at that level for sure.

I went a couple more shades blue when I swapped the ATI T5 fixture for Radions with T5 supplements. My eyes must have adjusted as it’s pleasant to look at. I would guess 18-20k spectrum but it really is a guess.
