Completely newbie question, please bare with me:

Does Favia Corals have palytoxin or just some Zoas and Palys?

Thanks in advance!
Paly toxin is associated with Palythoa coral and some zoa and not favia.

Favia is fine to touch. Palys and Zoas are the culprits. Don't hesitate to ask questions we are all here to help

I’m going to put up a sign on my tank that’s says please don’t lick the mushrooms. that will surely keep the teenagers from doing stupid things
 
Welcome! Palytoxin only is in palythoas and some zoas as mentioned before. Almost all corals have toxins, but lots you don't need to worry about.
