Just started my first saltwater tank 1 month ago. Been keeping freshwater for over 15 years. It'd be great to meet some local reefers who could make sure I'm doing things right. I live in the Palm Coast area.
I've had a tank since October, but moved it over Christmas and replaced the sand so it's kinda a month and a half old now. What all do you have in yours? (Also hoping other NE Fl locals see this thread :grinning-face-with-sweat:)

Should be Jonathan W with a picture of a guy on a kayak in front of a fort. I can PM you my number if you can't find it from the name
I couldn't find it. I tried sending you a qr code. Let me know if that works. If not double check your name on there. There is a few different ones like duval reefkeepers on band. It's nice because Facebook will take your post down if you try to sell any livestock. Band wont

For equipment, I have 80lbs of live sand, 60lbs of live rock, 2 hydor 1350 powerheads, 1 250 watt Ehiem heater, 2 Fluval FX4 canister filters, 1 48" AI Blade Grow LED light strip, all for my 75 gallon tank. My maintenance consist of 20% weekly water changes and biweekly, staggered canister cleanup.

Hey there fellow Florida reefers. I’m relatively new in the reefing world (almost a year) and it’s going great. I live in the Jacksonville area and was wondering if anyone else in this forum is also. I’m always down to meet fellow reefers and exchange awesome frags.
I'm in jax and just starting my 10 gal nano.i have a few small frags at this point but interested in meeting other
people in the hobby to trade and maybe pick their brain.so let me know if your interested I'm just getting back into reefkeeping after 15 years so I don't have much as far as corals go but I'm sure in the next y months I will hopefully have my tank stocked and stable.just got this radion xr30 pro for my tank so I'm really excited to see my tank take off with this new lighting.

I am basically cleaning house after being in the hobby for 27 years. I am not necessarily wanting to leave the hobby but have so much stuff that I have accumulated and am now dealing with some health issues (as is my child) that I am now selling it. I had two Apex‘s and two Trident‘s new in the box and those are gone, but in addition to that I have almost everything else left. I primarily kept SPS Coral. Hopefully this is a temporary thing and I’ll be back in the hobby in a few years, but who knows at this point? ‍

Mods if I posted this in a way I should not have please let me know. I’ve been on the forum since 2017 and have never had any issues but I try not to make them either.

DO YOU THINK TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS ARE MORE HELPFUL OR HURTFUL TO REEFING?
