I have been on a long journey of trying to get my Wyze cam set up for a daily pic. I want to then create a timelapse for an extended period of time to see growth and changes.
I FINALLY got it where I want, how I want, when I want.
Now I need to improve the picture itself.
This is what my tank looks like at 5:40pm. Which is around 60% of blues. My tank gets more and more blue throughout the day. More blue is even worse. Can't see a thing except that insane pink Goni.
Alright. Whites on and intensity set to 5%. Colors are lacking in some colors, but way better.
Now we are getting somewhere! I added my Flipper Magnifier orange lens to the front of the camera before the glass. This was the first pic I took and it had looked the best. I can't seem to recreate the colors here though. I must have messed with the settings on my lights and forgot what I had done. I would be pretty satisfied with this...
Mounted to glass with flipper orange filter.
Now that I know I want/ need a filter, I come to the community.
Those of you with any filters (clip on, glasses, anything) AND a Wyze cam, could you test it to see if and how it works for you?
Does it fit over the face of the cam?
Does it filter out blues for good colors?
Already using a Wyze with filter? Please, share!
I don't think I can purchase every filter to test myself...
Here are a few pics of different times / colors
80% or more blue
100% blue - pretty ineffective
