Hello all!
Embarking on a journey that will certainly be filled with the ebb and flow of stumbles and successes. That is precisely why I just joined R2R.
Made my first post in the beginner forum this evening.
Quick skinny is I have 18 months experience with a 40 breeder and that prompted me to purchase a 305 gal system with 265 gal display tank.
This will be my first run at anywhere near this level. Want to progress to an SPS dominant mixed reef. Lighting needs progressed. Flow needs progressed. Eventually want to expand the sump. Comes with an Apex - totally cool! Plan to maximize it. It is just the base unit now. Hope to add DOS and Trident right away. Want to have Apex doing my water changes within 3 months. Will include ATO.
So much to learn.
Hope to give back as much as I gain in these threads.
We all start somewhere.
And I'm just getting started.
Wow! Thank you. That is a lot of info and guidance. Very much appreciated!Welcome! Glad you joined.
Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)
