I have been reading a lot of threads about fire shrimp Not really needing to be fed bc they graze. But I’ve had mine for about a week and they seem trained already to come out in same spot and eat a ton. I couldn’t imagine them just eating scraps. They eat more than my clownish

So i guess im asking does anyone else’s eat this much ?

Mine eats every time the fish eat. I have had multiple Fire Shrimp over the years and all were enthusiastic eaters.
If no fish intended food is available the shrimp will scavenge or even steal food from corals and inverts.

Mine does the same. Don’t see him a lot until there’s food in the water
Then he’s out and about. Grabbing what ever he can

My shrimp all eat when I feed the fish. I get a lot of algae on the back wall of the tank my blood red is in and the shrimp spends a lot of time foraging there also along with my sixline so I assume they are eating pods.
