I live in an apartment in a city and manager lady told me I could only have a small fish tank... I think she meant something more like a 2 gal betta tank... *awkward laugh*
Anyways, after a lot of research online I decided to go with a Fluval Evo 13.5 tank. There was a lot of debate in my head between that and the Fluval Flex 32.5 gal tank. But I went with the smaller one so manager lady wouldn't be super mad if she somehow learnt of it. HA
Hoping to upgrade in the future to a 30gal-50gal tank.

Currently my tank has:
All the stuff it comes with:
  • 14000K LED
  • Foam filter with BioMax and activated carbon inserts
  • WP1500 circulation pump (132gal/hr)
And what I've put inside so far:
  • Eheim Jager submersible 100 watt heater
  • Fluval 15 gal circulation pump
  • Fritz RPM salt
  • CaribSea live sand
  • CaribSea live rock
  • Fritz zyme live nitrifying bacteria
  • 2 snowflake ocellaris clownfish
  • 1 Sand sifting star fish
And what's to come:
  • (LiveAquaria) Long Tentacle Anemone
  • (LiveAquaria) Mini Carpet Anemone
  • (LiveAquaria) Purple Short Spine Pincushion Urchin
  • (WWC) Illuminati zoanthid
  • (Fishroom) See pictures because I'm not completely sure
    • Green star polyps
    • 2 mushrooms?
    • unsure of other one
  • (Fishroom) Neon Trumpet Frag

Will update as I add things to/change in tank

Welcome to the money pit, er hobby! Waiting to hear how you explain the extraterrestrial eery blue 14000K glow emanating from the apartment to a nosey Ms. Manager Lady? :) Got to make the tank so wonderfully enticing and so tidy (with no risk of flooding, shock, nor fire) that she couldn't possibly object to a body of seawater and stinging creatures in her apartment.

any recommendations on an upgrade?
I recommend the InTank media basket. I bought it for mine (both chambers 1 and 2) and it worked a charm! Water is crystal clear now!

When you install it, keep the sponge. Cut it up, and use it as media in the baskets. Hope this helps!

I got all of these from @Legendary Corals
Their shipping has been the best of any corals I've ordered so far!
Their heat packs lasted a whole week in the box- I just threw it away today and they were still warm.
Every other vendor I ordered from, the heat packs were cold.
They also seal their bags instead of twist and tie which is awesome!
These corals also opened up within an hour of me introducing them to my tank. The gobstoppers opened the fastest.

Thanks ^-^
I haven't yet, but I plan to. Any advice?
put some nori on an algae clip a couple times a week and you should be fine. The 13.5 probably won't be able to grow enough algae for to sustain it without additional feeding.

Very cool additions @Unnatural! Regards the urchin, you can take a small piece of nori and just hold it up against the glass right by the urchin to hand feed it. You will be surprised how quickly it homes in on it. I still think my purple pincushion is the coolest thing in my tank (a 14 gallon 'nem tank)!

Thank you for the tag! I love seeing the corals happy in their new homes.
