Heya,
So i've started my first saltwater tank I15g nano) and today I introduced a single ocellaris. I have been monitoring ammonia, nitrate, nitrate levels for the past week or so every day to make sure everything is cycled. All 0's. I introduced a couple cerith snails several days ago and they have been very active. The tank (modded fluval flex) has a 130gph pump for the filter, and there is a 400gph powerhead in as well. The clownfish has not stopped swimming pretty hard minus short breaks in slow current spots. I shut the powerhead off and it seemed to still be huffing it's way through the current of the pump. I got it from a local breeder and it seemed to not be working super hard in their tank. It hasn't made its way to the rockwork yet to find a resting spot. Is my current too much for it? Should I swap for a smaller powerhead and just temporarily turn off this current one?
