If velvet killed those fish in the pictures, then it is the nicest strain of velvet that I have seen. I do not see hardly any signs ich or velvet. Not a fish expert either.

I do notice that every fish has a red-ish color tint to them. Could be post-mortem, but wondering if potentially ammonia burn?

I know when I had my velvet outbreak a few years ago it affected all my fish the same even though they had been in system for over 2 years. Most of them survived but same symptoms as you'd expect from velvet.
It's my regret not able to identify velvet. Confuse with other symptoms.

Thanks for saying.

Thanks.

My experience with ammonia is the fish looks anxious and really trying to breath. And i did test for ammonia with salifert and result was <0.15.

And i take this fallow time to fight off nuisance algae. Hopefully by the time, tank will be nice again for new inhabitants.

Hi...

A friend referred me to seek out help here.

My fish are dying in the 120L 7 months old tank.
Many of them have been in this tank for 3-5 months. They have been dying one by one for the last 10 days.

My dearest fish:

Can you leave us your water parameters please? We need to have a better understanding of your tank and the water qualities so we can help you. Is there any visible parasites, string fecal matter, any symptoms? Please let us know.
