Any particular reason you are wanting to add a fish to the refugium?

Oh a Mandarin or Scooter Blenny would look nice in there. Thanks! Refugium is strictly nutrient reduction. Most likely gonna put Ruby Red Scooter since I already have a red mandarin in another tank.

I believe a mixture of pods to be a critical part of a clean tank. Perhaps in nutrient reduction directly, but definitely in the sense that they eat the algae and crap that other CUC won't be able to get at.

I really think any fish, especially a dragonet, is going to be counter productive.

I rather have waste break down into nutrients, amino acids, and carbohydrates to feed my acros than to have pods break them down. In all of my systems, I have always put some fish in the fuge, usually yasha goby and shrimp pair. Tank looks clean to me.

Also, many people have mandarins and wrasses in their display, isn't that counter productive since it's basically eating all the pods in the display? At that point, you're just keeping the fuge clean. I need more nitrates and phosphates in my system if anything.
